First Place in WPJA Winter Competition

This image from Sandi & Roger's wedding won first place in the Action category of the WPJA first quarter of 2008 photo contest.



The little girl is the groom's granddaughter, the man who is about to be hit by the snowball is the groom's brother. He looks like an innocent victim in this picture but I can tell you that he wasn't altogether innocent. He had thrown a few snowballs himself at this point. Snow is unusual in Atlanta so I considered myself fortunate to have snow on a wedding day. It made for a beautiful setting that I thought really punctuated such a unique wedding ceremony.
