Laura and Jake's Wedding

Laura Wood and Jake Kirkwood were married on August 9, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Macon, GA. The reception was held in the social hall. Entertainment was the Loose Skrews Band of Macon.

Wedcomp Summer '08 Winners

Wedcomp is a new wedding photography competition we mentioned here on our blog in April.

First, Bene' won 4th place in Getting Ready with this image from Ramona and Chris' wedding.


That's Ramona's mom on the left while our friend Brooke Lee styles Ramona's hair.

She also took 9th place in the Ceremony category with another from Ramona and Chris' wedding.


Hassel took 8th place in Reception with this photo from Sandy and Roger's wedding. (You might recognize it as a 1st place winner in the WPJA Action category a couple of months ago.)



He also took 11th place in the Reception category with this one from Andie and Stan's wedding.
